RBR-TVBR sources confirm NBC will present its upfront on Monday, 5/16, beginning the annual upfront week from broadcast networks in NYC. It will again be held at the Hilton Hotel. The announcement of NBC’s upfront plan was delayed in part because of the acquisition NBCU by Comcast. There will be no “infront” presentations this year around, as in previous years, offered more personalized meetings with media buyers. Like last year, this will be a traditional upfront, we were told.
After NBC will be Fox’s Monday evening presentation/party at Wollman Rink in Central Park. ABC’s presentation will be Tuesday at Lincoln Center, with CBS following Wednesday at Carnegie Hall.
