NBC placed third Monday w/ 'Who's Still Standing'

At 8 p.m. ET, “Who’s Still Standing?” (1.5 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) maintained its 1.5 rating of the prior two Mondays in adults 18-49.  “Who’s Still Standing?” is up 8 percent versus NBC’s total-viewer season average in the time period prior to “Who’s Still Standing?” (5.568 million vs. 5.151 million).  “Who’s Still Standing?” is #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in men 18-49, men 18-34 (tie) and men 25-54.


For a fifth consecutive telecast, “Who’s Still Standing?” is showing solid growth from its first half-hour to its second.  Monday’s telecast is up by 14 percent from half-hour to half-hour in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.4) and up 10 percent in total viewers (5.8 million vs. 5.3 million). 

At 9 p.m. ET, “Fear Factor” (2.4/5 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall) is up 60 percent versus NBC’s 18-49 average in the time period earlier this season prior to “Fear Factor” (with a 2.4 rating vs. a 1.5, “live plus same day”), despite intense time-period competition last night that included CBS’s “Two and a Half Men” and “Mike & Molly” and ABC’s “Bachelor” premiere, which “Fear” virtually tied in adults 18-49 (2.4 vs. 2.5) and outscored from 9:30-10 p.m. (2.7 vs. 2.5). 

In total viewers, “Fear” is up 38 percent versus NBC’s slot average earlier this season prior to “Fear Factor” (5.900 million vs. 4.281 million).  In the time period, “Fear” ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-34 (tie), men 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54.  “Fear Factor” built on its lead-in by 60 percent in 18-49 rating. 

From its first half-hour to its second, “Fear” delivered substantial growth in all key ratings categories, including a half-hour to half-hour increase of 23 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.7 rating from a 2.2) and 17 percent in total viewers (6.4 million vs. 5.4 million). In women 18-34, “Fear” grew from its first half-hour to its second by 42 percent (2.7 vs. 1.9).
 
At 10 p.m. ET, “Rock Center” (1.2/3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall) equaled its highest adult 18-49 rating to date.  Week to week, “Rock Center” is up 50 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 0.8) and up 31 percent in total viewers (3.849 million vs. 2.932 million).
