NBC reality 'The Biggest Loser' takes fourth-place

From its first half-hour to its fourth, “The Biggest Loser” increased by 10 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.3 from a 2.1). But, not strong enough to compete against NCIS.


From 8-10 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser 12” (2.2/6 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) is running within a tenth of a rating point of last week’s season-premiere rating in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 2.3) in a highly competitive time period that included Fox’s “Glee,” “New Girl” and “Raising Hope,” CBS’s “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” and ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” Results Show. 

From its first half-hour to its fourth, “The Biggest Loser” increased by 10 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.3 from a 2.1).

At 10 p.m., “Parenthood” (2.2/6 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall) is up 5 percent week to week in adults 18-49 to match its highest rating in three telecasts so far this season. 

In the time period, “Parenthood” currently runs within 0.3 of a rating point of #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and is #1 among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34.  

Versus the same night last year, “Parenthood” is up 10 percent in 18-49 rating (2.2 vs. 2.0) and up 14 percent in total viewers (5.519 million vs. 4.829 million).
