NBC Saturday 'Law & Order CI' solid; 'SNL' encore winner

At 8 p.m. ET, “Persons Unknown” is currently averaging a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall, though significant adjustments are expected in official nationals.


At 9 p.m. ET, a second episode of “Persons Unknown” is currently reporting a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers overall, though significant adjustments are expected in official nationals.
 
At 10 p.m. ET, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” is currently averaging a 1.1/4 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall, though significant adjustments are expected in official nationals.  Pending updates, “CI” is building on its lead-in by 38 percent in 18-49 rating and by 46 percent or 1.3 million persons in total viewers.

In late-night metered-market households Saturday night: An encore telecast of “Saturday Night Live” (3.2/8 in metered-market households), hosted by Taylor Swift, dominated its time period and delivered the show’s highest -market household rating in four weeks (since July 31).  SNL was the #1 non-sports show of the night in metered-market households, ahead of all primetime entertainment telecasts on all the major networks.  Versus the same night last year, “SNL” is up 3 percent in metered-market households (3.2 vs. 3.1).

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, the August 7 edition of “Saturday Night Live” averaged a 1.7 rating, 8 share in adults 18-49 and was the #1 non-sports show of the night in the Local People Meters, ahead of all primetime entertainment telecasts on all the major networks.
