NBC Saturday; ‘Parenthood’ increased viewers; ‘SNL’ w/ Jennifer Lopez #1

From 8-9 p.m., an encore telecast of “Parenthood” averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its second, “Parenthood” increased its 18-49 rating by 20 percent (to a 0.6 from a 0.5), its adult 18-34 rating by 20 percent (0.6 vs. 0.5) and its women 18-34 rating by 40 percent (0.7 vs. 0.5).


At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of LAW & ORDER (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) nabbed the show’s highest 18-49 rating in this time period in three weeks.  LAW & ORDER increased its rating from half-hour to half-hour by 11 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.0 from a 0.9), 27 percent in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.1) and 33 percent in women 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.2).

At 10 p.m., an encore telecast of LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) matched the show’s highest 18-49 rating in this time period in four weeks.  From its first half-hour to its second, SVU increased its 18-49 rating by 27 percent (to a 1.4 from a 1.1) and its women 18-49 rating by 38 percent (to a 1.8 from a 1.3).

In late-night metered-market households Saturday night An encore telecast of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, averaged a 4.0/10 in metered-market households. 

SNL was the #1 non-sports telecast of the night in metered-market households ahead of all primetime entertainment programs on all major networks.  In the 25 markets with local people meters, this week’s SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE averaged a 2.2/9 in adults 18-49 and was the night’s #1 non-sports telecast.
