“NBC’s All-American Summer” will celebrate America, its communities, athletes, songs, heroes, talent and Gladiators all summer long as the network leads up to its coverage of the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. Yes, Gladiators. It may not be an Olympic sport, but NBC is promoting “American Gladiators” as one of the flag-waving series which will feature original episodes in the run-up to the Olympics.
"American Gladiators" is set to make its Summer season debut on May 12th, "America’s Got Talent" on June 24th, "Last Comic Standing" on May 22nd, and "Nashville Star" on June 9th.
In addition, NBC will unveil the new suspense and horror anthology series "Fear Itself" on May 29th, as well as two new alternative series, "Celebrity Circus" on June 11th and "The Baby Borrowers" June 25th.
