Cox Communications announced that its HD cable customers now have free access to many of NBC’s hottest shows anytime, On Demand, in high-definition. The new HD content added to “MyPrimetime” in Cox’s On Demand library includes episodes of “The Office,” “30 Rock,” “Community,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Mercy” and “Heroes.”

NBC joins ABC, AMC, We and others in bringing their shows to the MyPrimetime category in HD. In addition, Cox noted that it has also added NBC’s perennial favorite “Saturday Night Live” to the MyPrimetime lineup.

“MyPrimetime gives our customers anytime access to some of the season’s hottest programming in crystal clear HD, whenever they want it. Plus, the addition of Saturday Night Live to the MyPrimetime lineup ensures customers don’t miss any of the ‘water cooler’ moments for which that show has become so famous,” said David Pugliese, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Cox Communications.

With MyPrimetime, Cox customers can enjoy anytime access to hundreds of episodes from more than 20 networks, including ABC, NBC, USA, AMC, TBS, TNT, Comedy Central, Disney and more. The service is available in the vast majority of Cox’s operations with the remainder launching by early next year.

Cox, the nation’s third-largest MSO, serves 6.2 million households and businesses. It is owned by Cox Enterprises.
