NBC Sports RadioDial Global and the NBC Sports Group announced that in just one month’s time, NBC Sports Radio is up and running, delivering quality sports talk programming to more than 180 stations around the country, with more on the way.

Building partnerships and satisfying stations is all part of NBC Sports Radio’s game plan as they continue to evolve into a major player on the sports talk scene. Genesis Communications just switched two stations from ESPN Radio, WHBO/Tampa and WHOO/Orlando to NBC SportsTalk 1040AM Tampa Bay and NBC SportsTalk 1080–The Team Orlando.

Bruce Maduri, President of Genesis, told RBR-TVBR: “The fresh new sound of NBC Sports is a welcome programming element to Genesis Communications.  The partnership with NBC and Dial Global will be a benefit to our analog and digital platforms. The flexibility to integrate exclusive local and national sports programming to our strength as an affiliate, will bring a larger audience. The net result is greater results for advertisers.”

Anthony Pepe, General Manager of 1510 WWZN/NBC Sports Radio Boston, adds, “NBC Sports Radio has been a great addition to our station and for Boston Sports fans.  Having the partnership with Dial Global and NBC Sports Radio has really opened up some doors with businesses and key decision makers.”
