NBC Sunday, 'The Celebrity Apprentice' generated steady growth

Donal Trump not running for President and so he fired two more last night. From 9-11 p.m. ET, “The Celebrity Apprentice” (2.4/7 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) generated steady growth throughout its two-hour time period, increasing by 18 percent in 18-49 rating from its first half-hour to its fourth (to a 2.6 from a 2.2) and by 16 percent or 1.0 million persons in total viewers (to 7.1 million from 6.1 million) in a time period that included competition from Fox’s “Family Guy,” the season finale of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” and CBS’s “CSI: Miami” and season finale of “Survivor.” 


“The Celebrity Apprentice” built on its lead-in in the 8-9 p.m. hour by 167 percent in 18-49 and 89 percent in total viewers.   
 
From 7:32-8 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” delivered approximately a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 4.0 million viewers overall.  Note that golf coverage ran in some markets from 7-7:32 p.m. ET.

From 8-9 p.m. ET, “Minute To Win It” averaged a 0.9/2 in 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers overall.  “Minute To Win It” increased from its first half-hour to its second in all key ratings categories, including gains of 38 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 0.8) and 24 percent in total viewers (3.8 million vs. 3.1 million).
