Note that NBC’s averages last summer in the 8-9 p.m. hour were a 1.9 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.895 million viewers overall. The last time NBC earned a 3.3 rating or better in the Wednesday 8-9 p.m. hour with non-sport programming was February 25, 2009.

The last time a non-finale Wednesday edition of “America’s Got Talent” topped a 3.5 rating in 18-49 was July 5, 2006 (4.1), during the show’s first season.
An encore telecast of “America’s Got Talent” was joined in progress at 10:16 p.m. ET and ran to 11 p.m. The “Talent” rebroadcast is currently scored at a 2.8 rating in adults 18-49 in the 10:30-11 p.m. half-hour, pending updates.
