NBC takes Tuesday w/ two hours of 'America's Got Talent'

At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “Minutes To Win It” (1.5/5 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) clocked NBC’s highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period in nine weeks (since June 8).   From its first half-hour to its second, “Minute” grew by 23 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.3) and by 16 percent in total viewers (to 5.4 million from 4.6 million) while facing such stiff competition as Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen,” ABC’s “Wipeout” and CBS’s “NCIS” encore.

From 9-11 p.m. ET, “America’s Got Talent” (2.9/9 in 18-49, 10.4 million viewers overall) is the #1 telecast of the night in total viewers.  “Talent” matched its highest 18-49 rating in three weeks to win the time period in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories.

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, “America’s Got Talent” was a dominant #1 among the major networks in every key ratings category, beating the combined ABC-CBS result in adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers.
