NBC: “Talent” tied for #1 in 18-49

NBCThursday Results (subject to adjustment due to live coverage of the Democratic National Convention):


·       Pending updates, at 8 p.m. ET, a special Thursday edition of “America’s Got Talent” (1.8/6 in 18-49, 7.6 million viewers overall) is currently tied for  #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and is #1 outright in total viewers.  In adults 18-49, the 1.8 for “Talent” is NBC’s best rating in the time period since March 15, excluding Olympics.

·       Pending updates, the special Thursday edition of “America’s Got Talent” is currently #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers, with 7.6 million.  Note that results for the night’s convention coverage are subject to significant revision in official nationals and overrun coverage in the East may be impacting last night’s 8 p.m. results in the West.

Fast-affiliate ratings for NBC News’ live coverage of the Democratic National Convention from 9-11 p.m. are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to change.

·       Pending updates, NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night (New Orleans is excluded and all start times were delayed due to overrun convention coverage):

 

 

In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 2.4/7; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 1.5/4; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,” 2.4/6; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.2/4.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.8/4; “Late Show,” 0.4/2; “Nightline,” 0.9/4; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.5/3.

At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (0.8/3).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped “Late Late Show” (0.2/1).

At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
