NBC third overall Sunday w/ 'Dateline'

From 7-8 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” (1.2/4 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall) reported its top adult 18-49 rating for a Sunday telecast since May 22 and its biggest overall audience for a Sunday edition since March 22, 2009. 


With a Lester Holt report, “America Now: The Town that Jobs Forgot,” covering the economic struggles of Millen, Ga., “Dateline” was the top non-sports telecast in that hour on ABC, NBC or Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers and was #1 overall on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in all key female demos — women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.  From its first half-hour to its second, “Dateline NBC” grew by 27 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.1) and 14 percent in total viewers (6.9 million vs. 6.1 million).

At 8 p.m. ET, “Minute To Win It” delivered a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers overall.  “Minute To Win It” earned NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in the hour in three weeks.

At 9 p.m. ET, “The Marriage Ref” averaged a 0.9/2 in 18-49 and 2.7 million viewers overall.  At 10 p.m. , another telecast of “The Marriage Ref” delivered a 0.9/2 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall.  The 10 p.m. episode grew by 7 percent in total viewers from its first half-hour to its second (to 2.7 million from 2.6 million).
