At 8 p.m. ET, “Who’s Still Standing?” (1.5 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second by 21 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.4) and by 7 percent in total viewers (5.7 million vs. 5.4 million). 


In a competitive time period versus ESPN’s Steelers-49ers “Monday Night Football,” Fox’s season finale of “Terra Nova,” CBS’s encores of “How I Met Your Mother” and “2 Broke Girls” and Christmas specials on ABC, “Who’s Still Standing?” improved by 8 percent on NBC’s total-viewer season average in the time period (5.556 million vs. 5.151 million).

At 9 p.m. ET, “Fear Factor” (2.4/6 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall) ranks #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in the time period in adults 18-49, as well as men 18-49, women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34.  On a night when it faced ESPN’s strong Steelers-49ers “Monday Night Football,” plus Fox’s season finale of “Terra Nova,” CBS’s encores of “Two and a Half Men” and “Mike & Molly” and ABC’s “You Deserve It,” “Fear Factor” built on its lead-in by 60 percent in 18-49 rating and 13 percent in total viewers.  From its first half-hour to its second, “Fear” grew by 4 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.5 from a 2.4) and 10 percent in adults 18-34 (2.2 vs. 2.0).

Versus NBC’s 18-49 average in the time period earlier this season prior to “Fear Factor,” last night’s telecast is up 67 percent (with a 2.5 rating vs. a 1.5, “live plus same day”).  In total viewers, “Fear” is up 47 percent versus NBC’s slot average earlier this season prior to “Fear Factor” (6.283 million vs. 4.281 million).
 
At 10 p.m. ET, “Rock Center” (1.2/3 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) reported the show’s highest adult 18-49 rating to date, as well as its highest adult 25-54 rating (1.5) and its second biggest overall viewership.  In the time period, “Rock Center” is #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and all other key categories.
 
Week to week, “Rock Center” is up 9 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 1.1) and up 8 percent in total viewers (4.312 million vs. 4.003 million).  Versus two weeks ago, “Rock Center” is up 33 percent in 18-49 rating (1.2 vs. 0.9) and up 26 percent in total viewers (4.312 million vs. 3.421 million).
