NBC: Top “Rock Center” since Sept.

NBCThursday Results: From 8-10:01 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “The Voice” scored a 1.3/3 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall.  In total viewers, it’s NBC’s biggest audience in the time period since September 27.  From its first half-hour to its fourth, the “Voice” encore grew by 27 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.1).


*           From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, “Rock Center” (1.3/3 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) delivered its highest 18-49, 25-54 (1.7) and total-viewer results since September 13.  The 1.3 rating matches the second-highest 18-49 result ever for a regular hour-long edition of “Rock Center.”

*           Week to week, “Rock Center is up 18 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating vs. a 1.1),  21 percent in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.4) and 28 percent or 1.1 million persons in total viewers (4.776 million vs. 3.717 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night (averages currently exclude New York, Philadelphia, Providence and Hartford):

*           In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 2.9/8; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 2.9/8; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,” 3.6/9; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.9/6.

*           In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.8/4; “Late Show,” 0.7/4; “Nightline,” 1.4/6; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.7/4.

*           At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.4/5).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.6/4 in 18-49) beat “Late Late Show” (0.4/3).

*           At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
