At 8 p.m. ET, “Breakthrough with Tony Robbins” averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers overall in a time period that included competition from Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen,” ABC’s “Wipeout” and CBS’s “NCIS” encore. From its first half-hour to its second, “Breakthrough” increased its 18-49 rating by 14 percent (to a 0.8 from a 0.7).
From 9-11 p.m. ET, “America’s Got Talent” (2.8/8 in 18-49, 10.2 million viewers overall) is the #1 telecast of the night in total viewers. Week to week, “America’s Got Talent” is up by 8 percent in 18-49 rating (2.8 vs. 2.6) and 5 percent in total viewers (10.2 million vs. 9.7 million). From its first half-hour to its fourth, “America’s Got Talent” grew by 25 percent (to a 3.0 rating from a 2.4) and by 23 percent or more than 2.0 million persons in total viewers (to 11.0 million from 8.9 million).
For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, “America’s Got Talent” was a dominant #1 among the major networks in every key ratings category, beating the combined ABC-CBS result in adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers.
In Late-Night Metered Markets:
“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (3.1/8 in metered-market households) out-delivered CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman” (2.3/6) and ABC’s combination of “Nightline (2.8/6) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.3/4) in Nielsen’s 56 metered markets.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 1.0/5; “Late Show,” 0.6/2; “Nightline,” 1.1/4; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.5/3.
At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.6/3 in 18-49) topped “Late Late Show” (0.4/2).
At 1:35 a.m., Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
