NBC Tuesday line-up 'The Biggest Loser' maintains its weight

From 8-10 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser 10” (2.5/7 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall) weighed in with its top 18-49 and total-viewer results in four weeks (since October 19).  In a time period that included competition from Fox’s “Glee,” CBS’s “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” and ABC’s “No Ordinary Family” and the “Dancing With the Stars” Results Show, “Biggest Loser” grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by 22 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.8 from a 2.3).


At 10 p.m., “Parenthood” averaged a 1.8/5 in 18-49 and 4.8 million viewers overall).  “Parenthood” finished within 1 share of the time-period lead in adults 18-49 and is #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults, men and women 18-34.  

These “Parenthood” results are likely to increase substantially when Nielsen issues “live plus seven day” results for the current week.  In L+7 averages for the season’s first five weeks, “Parenthood” is the #1 primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 (+42% in adults 18-49, to a 2.96 rating from a 2.08).  In total viewers, “Parenthood” is also the #1 series in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 (+38% in persons 2+, to 7.0 million from 5.1 million).
