The first three days of the Beijing Olympics dominated the Nielsen ratings for NBC, scoring 1, 2, 3 in viewership for the Friday opening ceremonies, then Sunday primetime and Saturday primetime. Next, but well back, was NBC’s "America’s Got Talent," which is now on hiatus until the Games wrap up.


NBC handily won the Household ratings with a 10.1 average rating and 18 share. CBS was next at 3.8/7, Fox 3.2/6, ABC 2.4/4, Univision 1.7/3, CW 0.9/2, Telemundo and MyNetworkTV tied at 0.6/1, TeleFutura 0.3/1, Ion 0.2/0 and Azteca America 0.1/0.

NBC also had an easy win in the key 18-49 demo (and all other major demos as well), ahead of Fox, CBS, Univision, ABC, a tie by CW and Telemundo, a tie by TeleFutura and MyNetworkTV, Ion and Azteca America.
