NBC's Friday w/ 'Who Do You Think You Are?' ranked #2

At 8 p.m. ET, “Who Do You Think You Are?” averaged a 1.2/4 in adults 18-49 and 6.2 million viewers overall. 


In the time period, “Who Do You Think You Are?” ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 (tie) and total viewers and finished #1 in women 18-49 (tie) and women 25-54. 

Versus the prior week, “Who Do You Think You Are?” was up 4 percent in total viewers (6.151 million vs. 5.922 million).

From 9-11 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” delivered a 1.4/4 in adults 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall. 

From its first hour to its second, “Dateline NBC” grew by 15 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.3) and 17 percent in adults 25-54 (2.1 vs. 1.8).
On the other networks Friday night:

Fox (1.5/5) tied for the nightlong win with “Kitchen Nightmares” (a first-place 1.6/5 at 8 p.m.) and “Fringe” (a second-place 1.5/5 at 9).  CBS (1.5/5) tied Fox for the Friday win, as “CSI: NY” (a first-place 1.7/5 at 9 p.m.) and “Blue Bloods” (a first-place 1.7/5 at 10) tied for the #1 rating of the night. 

ABC (1.3/4) tied NBC for #3 for the night with OK results for “Supernanny” (1.0/4 at 8 p.m., tied for #4), “Primetime: What Would You Do” (1.3/4, tied for #3 at 9) and “20/20” (1.5/5, tied for #2 at 10).  CW was a respectable #5 with “Smallville” (1.0/3 at 8 p.m., tied for #4) and “Supernatural” (a fifth-place 1.0/3 at 9).
