NBC's Labor Day weekend ratings results, average

Saturday Primetime Results:
From approximately 8-9 p.m. ET, NBC aired overrun coverage of South Florida-Notre Dame College Football.  In metered-market households, the game earned a 2.1 rating, 5 share from 8-9 p.m. 


From 9-11 p.m. ET, the “NBC Movie of the Week” “Game Time: Tackling the Past” averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its fourth, “Game Time: Tackling the Past” grew by 50 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.6 from a 0.4) and by 54 percent in total viewers (2.6 million vs. 1.7 million).

Saturday late-night
An encore telecast of “Saturday Night Live” (2.8/7 in metered-market households), hosted by Zach Galifianakis with musical guest Jessie J, dominated its time period.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Saturday Night Live” averaged a 1.5 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49, making it the #1 non-sports telecast of the night ahead of all primetime entertainment programs on CBS, NBC or Fox.

Sunday Results (some Sunday ratings may be impacted by local telethon preemptions):
From 7-8 p.m. ET, “Dateline Classic” averaged a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers overall.  “Dateline Classic” is currently tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time period in adults 18-49 and is #2 outright in total viewers.

From 8-11 p.m. ET, the “NBC Movie of the Week” “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its sixth, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” grew by 71 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 0.7) and by 16 percent in total viewers (4.7 million vs. 4.1 million).
