NBC’s movie "Secrets of the Mountain" won the time period Friday

At 8-10 p.m. ET, the NBC Movie of the Week “Secrets of the Mountain” (1.4/5 in 18-49, 7.9 million viewers overall) won the time period in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults, men and women 25-54 and other key demos.  In total viewers, “Secrets of the Mountain” discovered NBC’s biggest overall audience in the time period, excluding Olympics, since January 8.  “Secrets of the Mountain” won the time period by a margin of 17 percent in adults 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.2 for ABC’s 8 p.m. encore and 9 p.m. original of “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution” ) and by a margin of 71 percent or 3.3 million persons in total viewers (7.9 million vs. 4.6 million for CBS’s second-place drama encores).


“Secrets of the Mountain” is currently tied for the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and is #1 outright for the night in total viewers.
 
From 10-11 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” reported a 1.2/4 in adults 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its second, “Dateline” increased by 6 percent in adults 25-54 (to a 1.7 from a 1.6) and by 10 percent in women 25-54 (2.3 vs. 2.1).
NBC tied for the nightlong win in adults 18-49 and won the night outright in total viewers and adults, men and women 25-54.
