NBC's repeat of 'America's Got Talent' third place; 'Jay Leno' takes Monday

From 8-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “America’s Got Talent” averaged a 1.3 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 5.2 million viewers overall.  “America’s
Got Talent” matched its highest 18-49 rating this summer for a Monday encore out of seven rebroadcasts to date.  “Talent” also hit a new summer high in total viewers for a Monday encore.


At 10 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” delivered a 1.3/4 in adults 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “Dateline” is #2 among the major networks in total viewers and adults, men and women 25-54. 

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:  “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (2.9.7 in metered-market households) out-delivered CBS’s first-run “Late Show with David Letterman” (2.5/6) and ABC’s combination of “Nightline (2.7/6) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.2/4 with an encore) in Nielsen’s 56 metered markets. 

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.9/4; “Late Show,” 0.7/3; “Nightline,” 0.9/4; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.5/3 with an encore.

At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.3/5 in metered-market households with an encore) trailed CBS’s first-run “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.2/4).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.6/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped the original “Late Late Show” (0.4/2).

At 1:35 a.m., Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
