From 8-10 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser 10” delivered a 2.7/7 in 18-49 and 7.1 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period that included Fox’s “Glee,” CBS’s “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” and ABC’s series debut of “No Ordinary Family” and the “Dancing With the Stars” Results Show.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, “The Biggest Loser” grew by 26 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.9 from a 2.3) and by 13 percent in total viewers (7.4 million vs. 6.6 million).  By the 9:30-10 p.m. half-hour, “Biggest Loser” ranked #2 or tied for #2 among the major networks in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49.

At 10 p.m., “Parenthood” averaged a 2.0/6 in 18-49 and 4.8 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “Parenthood” is tied for #1 among the major networks in adults 18-34.

Note that last season, Parenthood added an average 31% to these “live plus same day” ratings when “live plus seven day” results were released, giving it one of the biggest such increases among primetime series on the major networks.  In early “live plus three day” ratings for last week’s telecast (which includes time-shifted viewing through three days after the live telecast), “Parenthood’s” 18-49 rating (3.14) increased by 28 percent versus its “live plus same day” result (2.46).

NOTE: All national ratings are “live plus same day” from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.
