ION Television will add Emmy-nominated “NCIS” to its primetime lineup on Monday, September 8th at 9 p.m. ET and will air regularly on Mondays and Tuesdays in the 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET timeslot. "NCIS," the hit spin-off of CBS’s military legal drama, "JAG," furthers ION’s transformation into a general entertainment network.
The network is moving toward broader high quality content, targeting the adult 25-54 demographic by introducing several high profile major network shows on the ION Television primetime network schedule. Joining other recent off-network series additions like “Boston Legal” and “ER,” “NCIS” will continue to deliver on ION’s recently rebranded promise of a “positively entertaining” network. This will coincide with a consumer marketing push and an upgraded on-air look-and-feel.
