With the season premieres of GLEE and RAISING HOPE and the series premiere of NEW GIRL at 9:00pm, FOX won the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.
NEW GIRL was the highest-rated program of the night, while FOX’s new 9p comedy block with NEW GIRL and RAISING HOPE won its hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
GLEE (P): 4.0/11, down -29% from last year’s huge Season 2 premiere on 9/21/10 but still won the 8-9pm hour among its core Adults 18-34 and Teens audience
NEW GIRL (P): 4.8/12, up +55% from the RAISING HOPE premiere in the time period last Fall and is FOX’s highest-rated Fall sitcom debut in 10 years (since Bernie Mac on 11/14/01)
NEW GIRL beat the second highest rated program of the night (NCIS, live + Same Day) by +14% (4.8/12 vs. 4.2/12).
RAISING HOPE (P): 3.1/8, even with last year’s series premiere on 9/21/10

At 8p, ABC’s Dancing With The Stars: Meet the Cast special posted a 2.0/6. At 9p, the Dancing With The Stars Results premiere (2.8/7) matched its lowest season debut ever (on Tues 3/17/09), down -36% from its Tuesday launch last year (4.4/11 on 9/21/10). At 10p, the second season premiere of Body of Proof (2.3/6) dropped -26% from its series premiere last spring (3.1/8 on 3/29/11).
On CBS, the season premieres of NCIS (4.2/12) and NCIS: LA (3.6/9) were both in line with last year’s debuts (4.0/11 and 3.4/9). At 10p, the series premiere of new drama Unforgettable posted a 2.9/8, outperforming The Good Wife’s premiere in the time period last year (2.5/7 on 9/28/10).
On NBC, The Biggest Loser (2.3/6) posted its lowest premiere rating ever, down -21% from its cycle 10 premiere last fall (2.9/8 on 9/21/10). At 10p, Parenthood (2.1/6) was about even with last week’s season premiere.
