United Stations Radio Networks will begin distribution of a third version of weekend programming created and hosted by Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton.   Now, in addition to the Mainstream CHR version of his weekly chart show and its companion Rhythmic CHR version, there will be The Remix Top 40, a 4-hour show that will present a review of the dance mixes of today’s top pop hits.   The show will begin airing the week of January 26.

The Remix Top 40 is the first countdown show to provide affiliates with a researched review of the dance and nightclub remixes of today’s top hits.   The 4-hour format will also allow for each hour to be specially mixed by four top local DJ’s around the country, all of whom will be supervised by the show’s Executive Producer, WKTU’s Assistant Program Director, Steve Bartel.   The initial lineup of contributing “mixers” includes Dave Casanave from Kiss-108, Boston, Lil Cee from KMVQ, San Francisco, DJ Richie Rich from Y-100, Miami and WIOQ, Philadelphia and DJ Riddler from KKHH, Houston and WKTU, New York.   The program will feature brief interviews with superstar guests and will be produced with fewer commercial breaks than most national programs in order to enhance the show’s continuous music flow.  Clear Channel’s WKTU, New York has signed on as the show’s first affiliate and will air the program on Saturday evenings.
