New trustee for New Orleans AM


WLNO-AM is for sale – out of bankruptcy. The former Communicom station is going to a trustee for the purpose of finding a buyer.

As a matter of the transfer application, the station is going from Communicom Company of Louisiana LP, headed by Robert J. Maccini, to WLNO Trust under Stephan C. Sloan, Trustee.

The station received a bankruptcy sale price of $725K in the form of a credit bid from First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company on 5/30/14.

WLNO is a Class B on 1060 kHz with 50 kW-D, 5 kW-N, DA2.
