Nexstar Broadcasting Group announced Kelly Lattimer has been appointed Vice President and General Manager of WQRF-TV (FOX) and associated digital operations, including community web portal MYStateline.com and its mobile applications, serving the Rockford, Illinois DMA.
In her new role, Lattimer will also oversee WTVO-TV (ABC) through Nexstar’s operating agreement with Mission Broadcasting. Her appointment is effective immediately, and she will report to Tim Busch, Executive VP/Co-COO for Nexstar.
As a Rockford native, Lattimer brings to her new role an impressive broadcasting and advertising career that spans over two decades. Ms. Lattimer has served as the Director of Sales of Nexstar’s Rockford broadcast and digital operations since joining the Company in 2008. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Lattimer has demonstrated effective broadcasting sales leadership with responsibility for all aspects of local, regional and national sales. Her efforts and initiatives at Nexstar have resulted in significant station on-air and online revenue growth.
Prior to joining Nexstar, she was the General Sales Manager for the FOX affiliate in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Prior to her move to Cedar Rapids, she held sales management positions in Mobile, Alabama and Dubuque, Iowa.
