Market-leading WTAJ-TV, a Nexstar outlet in the west central Pennsylvania market of Johnstown-Altoona, has reached a multiyear pact with CBS that will keep content from the Eye Network on the station for an unspecified stretch into the future.
CBS Affiliate Relations President Diana Wilkin said, “We’re very pleased to have made an agreement with WTAJ-TV and appreciate Nexstar’s recognition of the value of being a CBS Affiliate. Our shared strengths and investment in quality entertainment, news and sports programming will continue to grow our mutual business and enhance the service we provide to our audiences and advertisers.”
Nexstar’s Perry Sook added, “For over 55 years, WTAJ and CBS have been partners in serving the viewers of Central and Western Pennsylvania with the best in entertainment, sports and local news programming. This new agreement extends the partnership and both parties will continue to work hard to insure that both WTAJ and CBS remain number one.”
