Nexstar Spins Louisiana TV Asset

Nexstar Broadcasting GroupPerry Sook’s Nexstar Broadcasting is selling a Louisiana television station.


KADN-TV and translator KADF-LD are licensed to Lafayette, near the gulf coast.

BCBL License Subsidiary, LLC is the buyer. Boston-based Ranesh Ramanathan is the sole member and holds 100% of the equity in the company.

The price is $40 million to be paid by wire transfer at closing in immediately available funds.

This transaction is one of several Nexstar hopes to complete to finalize the pending merger with Media General.
