We know that there are several proceedings percolating away at the Federal Communications Commission of vital interest to members of the broadcast community. But as we reported earlier, it did not look like any of them would be coming up at the July Open Meeting. The final Sunshine agenda confirms that report.
The July meeting is on the books for Thursday 7/15/10, kicking off at 10:30AM.
The items on the agenda concern rural health care, mobile satellite service and the Electronic Tariff Filing System.
So if you are a broadcaster and are planning on sleeping in on Thursday, 7/15/10, the FCC has done nothing whatsoever to compel a change in those plans.
