NFCB’s 35th Annual Conference in the offing

The National Federation of Community Broadcasters is coming together for the 35th time at the Crown Plaza Hotel in St. Paul MN from June 9-12, 2010. FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) are among the headliners who will address the gathering.


Others on the agenda include public radio host Michael Eric Dyson, “Democracy Now!” host Amy Goodman and GritTV personality Laura Flanders.

The conference will include all-day sessions for African American, Hispanic and Native-American stations, along with sessions on fundraising, emergency preparedness and community engagement.

NFCB says that the roster of enrollees is approaching 400 and growing.
