It’s a good thing that Nick Cannon has jobs on both radio and TV. There are going to be more mouths to feed in 2011. He confirmed Thursday on his WXRK-FM “92.3 Now” New York radio show that his wife, singer Mariah Carey, is carrying twins.
Cannon gave the exclusive scoop on CBS Radio’s 92.3 Now during the “Rollin’ with Nick Cannon” morning show. But, as he explained, his listeners weren’t the very first to learn of the twins. Besides the happy couple (and the doctor), the first to be told were President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
Mariah is performing on “Christmas in Washington,” airing Friday (8 pm ET/PT) on TNT. When she was taping the show the First Couple inquired about her pregnancy. Caught up in the emotion of the moment, Mariah made the first people she revealed the news of her twins to the President of the United States and First Lady.
That’s a story that Nick is already preparing to share with the kids – albeit in a few years.
