Nielsen, Westwood Extend Deal

Westwood-One-LOGO-2014Nielsen and Westwood One are extending, by several years, a measurement agreement.


Westwood uses Nielsen BDSradio measurement across its Cumulus stations and Westwood One syndicated programming.

Nielsen BDSradio measures airplay and streaming and includes sales data.

The tool feeds research with music reports and head-to-head analysis to enable broadcasters, rights owners, and streaming services to optimize programming, measure consumption, and maximize audiences.

Nielsen BDSradio processes 7+ billion streams each week, and 550k music detections every day from more than 1,900 radio stations, networks and video channels in the U.S, Canada and Mexico.
