With Friday’s announcement that Elliott Management Group has cleared the last hurdle in its path toward ownership of the nation’s dominant audience measurement and consumer data analytics firm, the likelihood of Nielsen Holdings plc issuing a second quarter 2023 report is dimmer than ever.
Privatization is all but secured for Nielsen, ahead of an August 9 shareholder vote, which will come just days after the company beat the street with its second quarter 2022 financial results.
