Nigel Morris takes the reins at Aegis Media NA

Aegis Media announced the appointment of Nigel Morris as CEO of Aegis Media North America.  He takes over from Sarah Fay, who is to leave the group by mutual agreement after 11 years in senior management positions.   At the same time, Mark Cranmer is to join Aegis Media as CEO of Isobar.  In these new roles, Nigel Morris will remain a member of the Aegis Media global executive, which Mark Cranmer will join.  Both appointments will take effect immediately.


Nigel Morris has been CEO of Isobar, the digital agency network of Aegis Media, since it was founded in 2003.  Under his leadership, Isobar has grown to 29% of Aegis Media’s revenue in 2008.  Morris will have responsibility for all Aegis Media businesses in the US and Canada, including Carat, Vizeum, Aegis Media Canada (Carat Canada, Mindblossom and Genesis Vizeum), Copernicus, Velocity Sports and Entertainment, Vivid Marketing, Posterscope USA (The Brand Experience and Hyperspace) and Isobar agencies Freestyle Interactive, Ammo Marketing, iProspect, Range and Molecular. 

Cranmer was CEO of Starcom Mediavest EMEA and was a Board director of Publicis Groupe Media worldwide until 2006.  In the preceding decade he was part of the BBH senior management team and founder of Motive, and a member of the Board that created the global Starcom media network.

Sarah Fay joined Aegis Media in 1998.  She has over 20 years’ experience in the marketing industry.  She led the creation of Carat Interactive in 2001, and was named CEO of Isobar US in 2003.  In 2007 Sarah additionally became CEO of Carat US, the newly merged Carat USA and Carat Fusion business.  She was named CEO of Aegis Media North America in April 2008.
