NJBA conference starts 6/24

NJBA / New Jersey Broadcasters AssociationThe 66th Annual NJBA (New Jersey Broadcasters Assn.) Conference and Gala will kick off Tuesday evening with an opening reception in Caesar’s Diamond Club overlooking the beach at sunset. Senator and NAB CEO Gordon Smith will keynote and the program includes great vender and colleague networking opportunities, Super Sales Sessions, Agency, Programming, Engineering and Student Panels and Sessions with Expert Broadcast Panels.


The Celebrity Breakfast Program will start on Wednesday at 8:30 and the annual Awards Luncheon will highlight a celebration of New Jersey broadcasters and the rich history the industry has in the Garden State.

NJBA pal and Greater Media President/CEO Peter Smyth will be joining to help induct legendary broadcaster Tony Marano into the NJBA Hall of Fame. Tony is one of three inductees in this year’s NJBA Hall of Fame Class, along with Jim Gearhart and John Morris. Smyth will present the award to Tony’s family on behalf of the NJBA at the Second Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony during the Awards Luncheon.  Longport Media’s Pinky Kravitz, who will be celebrating his 55th consecutive year broadcasting on WOND-AM, will be inducting NJBA Hall of Famer John Morris and NJ 101.5’s award winning News Director Eric Scott will be performing the honors for NJBA Hall of Famer Jim Gearhart.
