SANTA MONICA, CALIF. — Region 31 of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in Los Angeles has made good on its September pledge to move forward with a formal complaint on unfair labor practice charges filed by SAG-AFTRA against Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS)‘s two FM radio stations in Southern California.
RBR+TVBR first reported Sept. 6 that anti-union actions are purported to have been undertaken at SBS’s radio facilities in Los Angeles. The claims from SAG-AFTRA center on regional Mexican KLAX-FM 97.9 “La Raza” and Latin Contemporary Hits KXOL-FM “Mega 96.3.”
