Nick and Betty Barnett, owners of The Holler, Inc., thought they had a good idea by purchasing a Class D AM serving communities to the west of Knoxville and northeast of Chattanooga, Tenn.
As “The Holler,” this station played an eclectic mix of bluegrass, country and rock and roll.
Now, its future is in question, as the Barnetts have agreed to sell the facility.
