No trading holiday for Holladay

The rest of the industry may be sticking to its portfolio, but broadcasting Holladay family has been active of late. Clay, who played minority partner to his brother Robert in a recent Jackson MS buy, is now the lead operator, with Ron Eubanks, in the acquisition of a fourth FM in the Dothan AL market. Clay Holladay’s Gulf South Communications is getting WRJM-FM Geneva AL out of bankruptcy, with Trustee William C. Carn representing Stage Door Development. The price is $1.1M cash. The deal will add the FM into a cluster already including WESP-FM Dothan, WDJR-FM Enterprise & WDBT-FM Headland.
