The JaneDear girls took the stage at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Tuesday (9/6) to reveal the 2011 CMA Broadcast Personality and Radio Station of the Year finalists live from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The winners will be acknowledged by the Country Music Association during the CMA Awards broadcast November 9th after the winners are named in mid-October.

“The 45th Annual CMA Awards,” will be broadcast live on ABC Television Wednesday, November 9th, 8-11 pm ET/PT from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return to host “Country Music’s Biggest Night” for a fourth year.

No doubt you’ll recognize the names in the National Broadcast Personality of the Year category. Two-time CMA National Broadcast Personality of the Year nominee and 2009 winner, Kix Brooks of “American Country Countdown,” is back in the running with competition from Big D & Bubba and Lia Knight. Big D & Bubba were also nominated for the award in 2002 and 2007. “The Lia Show” has been nominated five times, and Knight took home the trophy in 2005 and 2007.

Five finalists are selected for CMA Broadcast Personality and CMA Radio Station of the Year in four categories: small, medium, large, and major market, based on Arbitron market rankings.
