KDJQ-AM Meridian ID is being sold out of receivership to a noncommercial Hispanic religious licensee. The station is in the Boise area, and the transaction is at the FCC after having already received court approval.

The buyer is Inglesia Misionera Pentecotes Inc., headed by Ambrocio Cruz. The noncommercial outfit will pay $325K cash for the station, and will also pay an additional $11K to TBF Financial in exchange for certain pieces of station equipment.

The seller is Greg Merrill, who was appointed receiver for the station by the Fourth Judicial District of Ada Count, Idaho.

The station operates on 890 kHz with 50 kw during the day and 250 watts at night.

Merrill operates as TriState Management LLC, and was also acting in his capacity as a broker for Media Services Group. He says this is the third attempt to sell the station after two earlier offers fell through.
