SoldThink the northernmost radio market in upstate New York – Watertown – and then think a little farther to the northeast below the St. Lawrence River and you’ll have a rough idea of where WPDM-AM and WSNN-FM are located.

The buyer is Timothy D. Martz’s Waters Communications Inc.

The seller is St. Lawrence Radio, headed by Jane Kyle.

According to broker Dick Kozacko of Kozacko Media Services, the price will be $225K cash.

The stations are a Country simulcast. WSNN-FM is a Class A on 99.3 MHz with 3 kW @ 154’; and WPDM-AM is a Class D on 1470 kHz with 1 kW-D, 44 W-N, ND.

Kozacko noted Martz’s other holdings in the area, which include WlCY-AM, WVNV-FM Malone NY and WYUL-FM Chateaugay NY, and an additional translator in Malone. None are close enough to trigger a local ownership cap study, however.
