Not a good Thursday for NBC comedy line-up

At 8 p.m. ET, “Community” delivered a 1.4/5 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period that included Fox’s “American Idol,” CBS’s “Big Bang Theory,” ABC’s “Wipeout” and CW’s “Vampire Diaries.”
 
At 8:30 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “The Office” averaged a 1.2/4 in 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers overall.  Week to week, the 8:30 rebroadcast of “The Office” is up 9 percent in 18-49 rating (1.2 vs. 1.1).


From 9-9:31 p.m., “The Office” (3.2/9 in adults 18-49, 6.2 million viewers) is currently tied with “Big Bang Theory” for the #2 rating of the night for a scripted series on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW, just a tenth of a point behind Fox’s “Bones” (3.3 from 9-10 p.m., pending updates), which benefited from an “American Idol” lead-in, and ahead a tenth of a point ahead of “Grey’s Anatomy” (3.1/8 from 9-10:01 p.m., pending updates). 

In the half-hour, “The Office” ranked #2 in adults 18-49 and #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in men 18-34 and adults, men and women 18-34. 
 
From 9:31-10 p.m., “Parks and Recreation” delivered a 2.4/7 in 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “Parks and Recreation” ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-34 and men 18-49. 

From 10-10:31 p.m. ET, a second telecast of “Parks and Recreation” delivered a 2.0/5 in 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers overall.  “Parks and Rec” ranked #1 in the half-hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34 and men 18-34.  

 From 10:31-11 p.m. ET, “Outsourced” averaged a 1.5/4 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall.  In the half-hour, “Outsourced” ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-34 and tied for #2 in adults 18-34.
