Broadcast Automation and Video Server solutions NVerzion is bulking up its U.S. sales representative team to better serve the Southeast.
With the move, a thirty-year veteran is now representing NVerzion through a senior-level tech consultancy he’s been steward of.
Taking the role as an outside rep for NVerzion is Kévin Thompson. He began his career with Midwest Telecommunications, then created his own broadcast direct rep company, Atlantic Broadcast Communications, representing several major manufacturers.
Shortly thereafter, Atlantic Broadcast merged with Audio Fidelity Communications Corp. and the beginnings of what would grow to become the Whitlock Group, where Thompson was president for many of the company’s formative years.
In 2010 Thompson left the Whitlock group to form his new company — Thompson Consulting/TeQdyne. For the past eight years Thompson Consulting/TeQdyne has been successfully helping companies in the audio visual and broadcast industries grow their business.
In 2017 Thompson also began working on the new profile for Thompson Consulting/TeQdyne with stated goals of developing and representing key products for the A/V and broadcast markets.
TeQdyne is now poised to represent a few select broadcast and A/V manufacturers, providing products and solutions to customers as well as top tier systems integration firms on the East Coast. They offer senior level consulting services to integration firms to help them grow on a national and international basis.
Thompson commented, “We are focused on bringing purpose driven growth and establishing our clients with their customer base as long term focused partners. TeQdyne believes creating a culture of attraction rather than promotion is vital to their mutual success.”
NVerzion Director of Sales Reed Haslam said, “Thompson is a perfect match for our marketing and sales division. Thompson’s ability to develop and execute strategies to penetrate the broadcast markets as well as the PEG markets will create advantages for our existing dealer network and customer base as well as open doors for future market expansion.”
TeQdyne, headquartered in Virginia, is strategically located near many group headquarters and high-density population centers.
