The investors at Oaktree Capital Management already had their own radio group when they took a stake in group Millennium Radio New Jersey, and now that they own the stations, to the surprise of absolutely nobody, they are incorporating them into it. That is how Townsquare Media will begin operating in the state.

The crown jewel in the 10-station group is News-Talk WKXW-FM Trenton, which makes its living via its focus on news pertinent to the state.

There are five stations in Atlantic City: WSJO-FM 104.9 Egg Harbor City and ESPN WENJ-FM 97.3 Millville. Three are licensed to Atlantic City: ESPN DePortes WENJ-AM 1450, Cat Country WPUR-FM 107.3 and Lite Rock WFPG-FM 96.9.

Four more are located in the Monmouth-Ocean market, including The Point WJLK-FM 94.3 and Good Time Oldies WADB-AM 1310 in Asbury Park, Soft Rock WOBM-FM Toms River, Good Time Oldies WOBM-AM 1160 Lakewood Township, Classic Rock Hawk WCHR-FM 105.7 Manahawkin.
