The network had to go all the way to China to get it, but Fox News Channel scored an interview with President Barack Obama. FNC correspondent Major Garrett handled the Q part of the Q&A session.
The session went on the schedule for the 11/18/09 edition of “Special Report With Bret Baier.” That program begins at 6:00PM Eastern.
According to a report by Politics Daily, Obama discussed a wide range of topics with Garrett, including the Mideast, jobs, Guantanamo, health care and the Stupak amendment and other issues.
RBR-TVBR observation: We are sure that the display of white flags before the administration and the network approached one another was completely unnecessary. And although this session is unlikely to bring a permanent end to the hostilities between the two parties, it is a step in the right direction.
