From September 2010 through the end of 2013, Tammy O’Dell served as Cumulus Broadcasting’s VP/Sales in the Charleston, S.C.

Now, O’Dell is returning to the Palmetto State and to what is today Cumulus Media by taking on VP/Market Manager responsibilities for the company’s stations in the state capital.

This puts O’Dell in charge of Sports WNKT-FM 107.5 “The Game,” Sports WISW-AM 1320 “The Fan,” AC WTCB-FM 106.7, Urban AC WLXC-FM “Kiss 103.1,” and Classic Hits WOMG-FM 98.5.

“We are excited to welcome Tammy back to the Cumulus family in Columbia,” said EVP/Operations Bob Walker. “Her passion for the Carolina region and her success in building a winning sales culture make her a great addition to the team in Columbia.”

O’Dell spent the last year as LSM for Spectrum Reach in Cary, N.C. For nearly four years prior to that, she was with Curtis Media Group, serving as GM of WQDR-FM in Raleigh.

Before that, she was Director of Sales for the station.

O’Dell has also been VP/GM of Townsquare Media’s stations in the Albany, N.Y., market, and from May 2006-September 2010 was GSM of Clear Channel’s Tampa-St. Petersburg stations WFUS-FM “US 103.5” and WMTX-FM “Mix 100.7.”

She began her career in November 2003 as Director of Sales for Clear Channel in Raleigh.
