On Carnegie observation: Standing together and getting through it all

Hi Jim;

Your comments about the R&R demise were right on the button. Reminds me of what happened to the radio-TV National Rep business. When I started in 1959 there 36 different national Reps – now there are 2. Once the Entrepreneurs left they started to go out of business.

You have successfully grown with the technological changes that had to be made while keeping a great team of classy writers. The sad  comparison is Broadcasting magazine. It was the Bible we all grew up with, Once the Taishoffs & Don West left – it’s now a tragedy.

Once they deliberately stopped covering radio – ball game over.

My compliments to you, Cathy and your RBR team – at your skills & persistence.

PS – You may recall Bob Wilson was PD at Eastman owned KAFY in Bakersfield before he created R&R.
