OneGo launching deal shopping app for radio

Mobile AppsLA-based digital technology company OneGo, Inc. will launch a deal mobile app specifically for local radio stations and their advertisers on 2/10/14. The OneGo  customized app will include the logos of radio station affiliates and be made available on an exclusive one-radio station-per-market basis.

Free to affiliates, their advertisers and their listeners, the OneGo deal mobile app will operate on both Android and iOS platforms and feature discounts in all consumer product and service categories offered by each station’s advertisers.  In contrast to the typical daily deals services, OneGo does not take a cut in the revenue from products and services sold on its app.

In addition, radio stations also have the option of monetizing the app without having to share revenues with OneGo.

“For the first time, radio stations have the unique opportunity to expand into the burgeoning app category without the need to invest in developing and building their mobile app or cover any of the ongoing operational costs. We are confident radio stations – and their advertisers – will find OneGo to be an outstanding local marketing service,” said Agnia Grigas, CEO.

Grigas told RBR-TVBR about their revenue model and how they make money: “OneGo’s revenue model is based on additional paid services in loyalty marketing and customer retention and advertising.”

For now, www.onego.com bills itself as a customer engagement platform “that connects customers to businesses, businesses to customers, and businesses to businesses. Our cloud based tools let shops, restaurants and services create more than 100 types of offers, rewards, a reloadable gift card, charitable donations and joint offers with other businesses.
